Summer Tennis Camp 2024

The Julian Krinsky School of Tennis has been running premier Summer tennis camps in the suburbs of Philadelphia for nearly 50 years.  The camps are held at their two USTA Premier Tennis facilities in King of Prussia and Narberth all summer.   Hosting close to a thousand campers each summer, the camp has built a reputation for top-flight instruction, fun and well-organized days. Each summer we host 12 weeks of camp throughout June, July, and August and offer Full and Half day camp options. There is an appropriate camp option for boys and girls ages 5-18 of all skill levels.

Campers receive personal attention, advanced teaching techniques, intensive drill work, and game/match play, all in a fun and competitive environment. We break the campers into small instructional groups of similar age and ability, so each child is working in a group that is commensurate with their experience level. We tailor each program to the level of the players. Beginners get a heavy dose of swing technique and fundamentals, while more advanced players focus on strategy, point building, percentage tennis, etc.

FAQ'S
What type of players attend our camp?

Our camps are open to players of all levels from the ages 5 – 18.  We place them in groups based on levels. From new tennis players to Nationally ranked players train at our camps.

What do you recommend in terms of AM, PM or Full day for students?

Kids who are new to the sport the best suggestion is half day tennis and preferably in the AM session.  We recommend that players be of orange level and above in order to play a full day of tennis.

Is Lunch Provided?

Only Full Day campers are provided lunch.  Lunch is ordered in from popular local restaurants.

Do you offer extended day or early drop off?

Our tennis clubs are open as early as 8am and will stay open until at least 5 pm in the afternoons. Parents who need to drop off their children early or need a delayed pick can do so at no additional cost.  However, the kids will wait in the lounge but not have a full-time supervisor or scheduled activities.

Can we sign up for less than a week?

Yes, but depends on space.  Preference is given to full day/Full week students.

Make Up Policy

We can offer make up’s for missed days and it will depend on space.

Rainy Day policy

In the event of rain some of the Narberth Tennis camp players may be asked to be dropped off at Gulph Mills or the camp director will help drive campers to Gulph Mills.  Gulph Mills is an indoor tennis club and therefore the weather will not be an issue.

Do we have camp on July 4th ?

No we are off for the Independance day.
